Acquired the Dragonfly late last year to mount on Prodigy 1911 DS. Finally got around to doing so. Easy installation. Laser bore-sighted it in and took it to the range for final dialing in. All went well, so far. Used the combo in a falling steel match the next day. With the sun to my back, all was working fine. With sunlight in front of me, actually coming in angled from my right (at 2 pm, the sunlight was coming from approx 30 degrees to my right), the sight went from bad to worse. With the sun at 30 degrees to my right, I now had two (2) dots showing. as I swung further to my right, the number of dots continued to multiply. At the last target on that stage I had so many dots showing it looked like the sky at midnight. Cleaned the lens 3 times, with NO change in effect. Turn away from the sun and all is fine. Turn towards the sun and the number of visible dots multiplies. Time to call Springfield customer service.
