Compact, perfect for pocket cary. Easy to mount. Will see how long the battery lasts. The shake to wake works flawlessly. It was pretty much zeroed when
I installed it.

The sight I got works and looks like it has all the parts but like a lot of people in the comments section, I received mine and the seal on the box was broken (and then folded back on itself). The product was listed as new so I’m not sure if I’ve received a new one with a broken seal or a reconditioned one. I’m left with some questions I guess.

This is not my first Sig Sauer sight. I’m familiar with how they are packaged and should look when new in the box. That’s how I knew something was wrong when this arrived. It was obvious that it had been opened and used. I ordered and paid for a NEW Romeo X Compact but that’s not what was shipped. I was able to return it and amazon shipped a new one. Even though it was a hassle to have to return it. I wrote a separate review for the seller, but my hunch is, it’s an Amazon fulfillment issue. I’m not taking stars off for that, it’s not the products fault.
I mounted this on a Sig P365XL. It replaced a Romeo Zero. Easily removed the Zero and installed the new X that Amazon sent after I returned the USED one.
I’m not going to go into details about the function, there are tons of reviews out there on this product. It’s certainly an improvement over the Romeo Zero. Glass is clear, dot is easy to acquire. If you’re new to red dots, it may take some getting used to. Practice, practice, practice and you’ll soon be getting on target faster than with iron sights.

It scared me at first. The battery cover was screwed down tight without a battery in it during shipping so it bent the pins down and the dot didn’t turn on at first. Just moving the pins back up fixed it. The reticle was a little splattery when I first turned it on but it was crystal clear within 10 minutes of being on and adjusted. The reticle is super crisp and clean. I have some decent astigmatism that blows out a lot of dots but this one is as clean as it gets. It went on super easy and definitely feels much more premium than the romeo zero it replaced. Much more aesthetically pleasing as well.

For my particular astigmatism i get the starburst effect. when i initially tried this with the circle dot i was getting some ghosting, which was alleviated by switching it to dot only, but later i could see the reticle clear as day both with my glasses or contacts so long as the setting wasn’t too high. I’m rather excited to take this out to the range on my X-macro comp..

Received a used optic. There was dirt on the outside and inside of the lens, and marks on the metal. The seal on the box was peeled back on one side and reattached, but I did not notice until I cut it open. The serial number of the optic did not match the barcode. And the sealed battery these come with was not there.

I had a Romeo Zero on my P365X. It was one of the first compact RDS sites available and it was inexpensive. Frankly, it was adequate at best. The plastic lens easily scratched. And battery changes required removal and re-zeroing each time.
Unlike the Romeo Zero, the Romeo X is QUALITY! Clear glass, side load battery means no removing and re-zeroing with battery changes, the housing is all aircraft grade aluminum and takes plenty of punishment while protecting the optic perfectly.
The multi reticle is BETTER than the Holosun and the recessed control buttons are great! No accidental operation but not difficult to access.
I have a Leupold Delta Point Pro, Holosun 507C, and 507k and this is my favorite RDS bar none! I like the Romeo X so much Im actually considering replacing the Delta Point Pro on my P320 with the fullsize version.
