This is about the lightest sight with magnification, I could find. A very versatile choise for a light weight AR build. I would like it even better, if it had a less cluttered reticle. The eye releaf is too short. The one minute adjustments on elevation and windage are a bit course when using it at longer ranges, changing this to half minute would be an improvement. If it could be made a bit lighter, so much the better.

Wanted a compact and lightweight low magnification sight for my KE Arms Civil Defense Rifle. This ticks all the boxes. Lets me see and hit targets accurately out to 250 yards. I have not used the sight beyond that range, yet. At 50 yards and under, centering the whole reticle on a target lets you hit plates fairly quickly.
Overall, well worth the money.

Has good glass and clearity but the eye relief is so short, for the money it could be better

Five stars for the optic- at the price I paid when I bought it. I got mine for less than $200.
I am a huge burris fan, because they always seem to deliver a phenomenal value for you dollar. I have had this optic on several different rifles, but right now it sits on a 300BO and I believe that will be where it remains. I have made shots out to 225 yards, it’s great. Eye relief is TIGHT, so be aware of that. But once it’s properly set up, it really isn’t a problem.
What is a problem is that at the time of this review, the price is 368$. I really like my burris optics (and I own over a half dozen burris products, from $150 to $800), but that seems pretty steep for a budget microprism.

Easy to install for me. Used blue lock tight on threads. Like the magnification & etched reticle if battery dies. I have another Burris red dot & have had no issues. I maybe bias being I like Burris optics being they have worked for me in the past.
Note: Have yet to go out & sight it in using it. But based on me using Burris I give it a 5. Burris does have a Forever Warranty no questioned asked on all their products. Except on Thermal Optics only have 3year limited warranty.

First off, this seller is on the ball. Sight arrived a day early on a two day shipment and in new condition as advertised.
For me this is an ideal AR sight and a serious improvement over a conventional red dot… Quick access, lightweight, clear as a bell, hit anything you’re looking at. Magnification is just right in my book. Can acquire targets out to 300- 400 yards. Everyone who sees this product is going to wonder where it’s been all these years. The horseshoe and dot reticle is ideal for close in rapid acquisition or precision shooting at distance. The horseshoe acts as a large moa dot as is used in some pistol competitions.
The dot and bdc scales were right on for me… Easily centered rounds in the 1″ square of the zero target at 125 yards.. Clear, wde field of view, in my opinion this could make red dots obsolete for most, maybe not all, applications. On/off and illumination adjustment easy as pie. Very convenient and easy to use. Astigmatism is defeated with the etched reticle and illumination.
No cons from me. Would prefer horseshoe and dot illumination only, but entire reticle is just fine. Eye relief is on the short side, which is an effect of the technology, but Burris defeats this with the angled mount. Not an issue at all. Etched reticle very visible without illumination (or with dead battery) means BUS not really needed, at least for me. Both eyes open sight. No problem at all.
Best addition to an AR you can find for general purpose/duty use in my opinion, because of light weight, ease of use, magnification, clarity, and a reticle that is instantly visible, clear as a bell and accurate.
And Burris is as good as it gets for customer care. I have personal experience with them on that score with a different product and could not have been treated better.
This is an outstanding product from an outstanding manufacturer. Burris marketing should be loud and strong with their promotion of this very fine product.
