Very bright, perfectly shaped beam for its intended small weapon use. Fits perfectly on length of multiple guns of mine, it now stays on my primary STI tactical (full length commander frame/barrel) with perfectly flush mounting. Not overly thick either, slimmer in weapon profile than standard tlr series. Love the paddle switches, all aluminum construction is very solid. Can’t say enough good about this light and for the price it can’t be touched, even double doesn’t really get you more and in most cases less. The ONLY thing I would change is a quick release/tool-less attachment screw a-la stream light. But such a minor thing for such an overly outstanding product only worth the mention.

Was Looking For A Rail Mounted Light To Mount On A Full Size M&P. This Setup Was Planned To Be The House Piece. I Looked / Researched For Several Months On Brands And Features. Being The Owner Of Several Crimson Trace Products I Kept Coming Back To This Light. Initially The Low Price Compared To Competitors Lights Scared Me. Plus Crimson Trace Normally Isn’t Exactly Cheap Either So I Questioned Why Is This Light So Cheap? Well I Took A Chance And Ordered It Anyway Knowing CT Customer Service Is Top Notch! Received Light Today, Installed Battery, And Mounted The Light. The Quality Is Outstanding, Paddle Switch Is Easy To Activate And In Perfect Position. I Played Around With All The Modes And I Like The Strobe The Best Along Side My Laser Grips. The Light Fits The M&P Full Size Like A Glove. I Didn’t Have To Adjust The Mounting System At All. It’s Cool The Paddle Switch Has The Same Serations The Slide Does. This Light Compliments The Laser Grips Perfectly. Sweet Little Light, Sweet Little Setup.

I’m new to guns. Have been searching for a good light for home defense for some while. Have bought and returned a few of the cheap ones because they were so awful. This is absolutely perfect. Didn’t wanna spend the little extra at first and went for cheaper stuff in the 30-40 dollar range. I regret that I didn’t buy this to start off. Built quality is exceptional, fits like a glove on my smith and wesson m&p 2.0 9mm with 5in barrel. The mounting bracket is exceptional. The dim, strobe, and high beam functions are fantastic. The feel of the buttons to turn the light on/off is smooth like butter. Genuinely surprised by how exceptional this is. If only I could find a good light & laser combo at this price! And if you’re debating between this and something more expensive…save your money, try this out.

Seems well made. Fits well .I live in grizz country and this thing gets used quite a bit around the house when the animals are going off or just heading out to get firewood scanning for eyes in the treeline next to the house. I like being able to operate everything with one hand. And no cumbersome or akward recessed switches. Momentary to always on function is perfect as I can go from did I hear something to it’s over there somewhere mode easily. I have changed the batteries once. Function is great. Modes work well. Memory works well. Plenty bright. It fell off once at the range after about 30 rounds but I’m sure it was my fault. Since I remounted it I have not had any issues after several hundred rounds out of a .40. All in all it seems well made and it functions as it should. I give it best bang for buck in class .

It’s bright, mostly ergonomical, mostly durable, and has a good selection of options. However there’s a few things that could definitely be improved upon. Mainly, the tool it comes with doesn’t work on the screw that clamps it to the rail. This isn’t a problem for most people because most people own a screwdriver, but i got this as a gift for my mother, and she doesn’t. Ended up having to use a key to tighten the screw and left a nasty gouge in the side of the aluminum body of the flashlight. I really don’t see a reason why the tool it comes with can’t be designed to be used on the entire thing, instead of just half of it. (Also, you have to hold both buttons down for like thirty seconds to change the setting… I feel like holding one down and pressing the other should instantly cycle to the next setting. At least I think that would make more sense.)

Great light. Nice and bright. Price was great cause i had purchased it while it was still around $50. Location and how the switch feels great. Has just enough modes and FYI when you first turn it on its will be on the strobe mode and trust me its bright. You still get a good amount of light even on low mode. High mode is realy nice right white color no himt of yellowish shade. Install was easy just wish the provided tool was a bit longer to make the process even easier and smoother. Feels very solid. Very decent weight for a great light. Looks realy nice especially when mounted on a gun. I would get one again even though the price had been increased hopefully it goes back down LOL. I would recommend this light to anyone thats looking for a simple yet very good light and looks great.

I bought this for my home defense Glock 17 gen 5 to replace a cheap 20 dollar off brand light. I’m pretty sure the cheap lights are made for airsoft. I didn’t like the controls on the cheap light so I bought this light as a replacement because I wanted the paddle switchs. I am glad I did. It is a very nice light and is extremely bright. The ambidextrous paddle switchs are easy and fast to use. The 3 modes are easy to set. The strobe mode is extremely bright and disorienting. The installation was really easy too. The light is made of aluminum and appears to be very durable. I can’t find any drawbacks to the light. Yes it does cost more than the 20 dollar lights but it is much easier to use and easy is what you need in a high stress situation. Looking back I wish I never wasted my 20 bucks on the cheap off brand and just bought this first.

Very impressed with the durability. Dropped it, and it still holds zero.

Held zero after hundreds of rounds. Great value for the price.
