Held zero after hundreds of rounds. Great value for the price.

Best red dot I’ve found for under $200.

Purchased for a Glock 41 MOS, perfect fit, great reflex sight. This is the Green dot, much easier to pick up quickly IMO. This is my 2nd 507C, finally had to replace the battery on my first one after 5 years.

Overall it’s a good sight but has a few minor issues. The reticle is well focused, very clear, lacks any streaking unless run super bright in dim light and it can get bright enough even against snow on a sunny day. I was unable to get a good picture of the reticle, so what you see in the pics I took does not reflect how that aspect looks. The option of 3 different reticles is also very welcome.
The auto-brightness feature is fast and works as intended, but just like other sights with this feature, it always seems 1 or 2 settings too dim for my preference. Manual mode works fine and the buttons are tactile. Overall build quality seems excellent and mounting it was easy. The turrets are tactile and retain zero once set. I didn’t do a box test but it tracked as expected when zeroing. The auto on/off feature works flawlessly and it turns on with the slightest touch.
There are a few downsides, the biggest being it takes a lot of practice to quickly pick up the dot. The 32 MOA ring makes it easier, but a 100 MOA ring or something like that would be far better. The other 2 downsides are related to the glass. The glass has a very clear greenish-blue hue to it. This doesn’t interfere under normal lighting conditions, but is clearly visible (see pic). The glass itself is very clear at least, just has that tint. The other problem is there is some optical distortion if not viewing the sight dead on. Once again, this doesn’t hurt anything given that it’s a pistol red dot and so point of impact doesn’t change, but I can see it being distracting for some people.
Overall, I think this is well worth the money and it functions great so far (about 1000 rounds of 22LR). I recommend it, but there is room for improvement too.

I installed the 507C on my Glock 47 myself. Easy stuff cause I’m no gunsmith!! Took it to the range and after a bit got it sighted in nicely. This was 6 months ago. Since then I have practiced getting the red dot into my sight picture quickly. It takes some time and practice to get right but I can shoot a beer off the top of your head at 150 ft. every time. This is my duty gun and I carry it five days a week so it does get some abuse. The optic has remained accurate and seems very durable. I cannot say enough good about this. I am buying another 507C after Christmas for my concealed carry Glock 26. Just a really excellent product that has improved my accuracy considerably.

I have several Holosun red dots. They work great! They are rugged enough for competition in which I have used them. They are well made and are easy to zero. Controls are simple. Love the shake wake feature and the looong battery life. Upon receipt of this one, the red dot did not work. I opened the battery compartment and took out the battery to discover that the battery had been put in backwards (or upside down). The “+” side was up when it should have been down. Once I placed it in the correct configuration it worked perfectly. Well worth the money. I am an older guy and was accustomed to iron sights. The red dot took some getting used to but it allows me to make great shots at distance.

Great Red Dot. Easy to use and install. Red is a great color. I have both red and green. Your eye can find the color Green easier. Either works great. I have red for my competition pistol. And Green on my carry guns. And the price is spot on. I will be purchasing more.

The holosun 507c is fantastic… I mounted it to my 2011 using a trijicon mounting plate (this optic fits RMR footprint)
Install was as simple of tightening two screws. Zeroing was the easiest of any pistol optic i have ever used and was even pretty close out of the box (it even said it would be close in the manual).
The optic has a setting for every situation you could ever need, it has the circle, dot, and circle with dot. The circle i have used much but John from ASP swears by it. The dot is fantastic for longer range shots and i was even able to us this for very repeatable 100yard shots. The circle dot is PERFECT for everything inside 50y yards, and aids in finding the dot fast.
More impressive is the durability of this tank of a red dot. I have an RMR, and I’m almost convinced the RMR eould break before this holosun. The aluminum is thicker than a snicker.
The glass is pretty clear and it’s a decent shape for cleaning powder off of after a range session.
The shake awake function is flawless, the auto time off can be changed to different times, and the brightness settings work for every situation.
I don’t personally use the auto brightness, but it does work well.
This optic is a far better than it’s price suggests, it’s an RMR killer for sure…

I used this as a backup sight on a scoped rifle. It is durable, has many brightness settings and the reticle is great. For the money paid, I am very satisfied and would buy this again.
