The item is very well made and gold is so much superior than red blue or green. I have astigmatism in both eyes so I can’t use it unless I have my glasses on but if they had the gold on the other sites for people with astigmatism I would buy it in a heartbeat. In fact, I would buy every type they made with the gold.

Not cheap but not expensive either, it’s well made and is good bang for the buck. Yep it’s made in china, and while I would love to buy american, the EOTech sights are 2x as much, and if you’re talking about adding a 3x magnifier we’re way over a grand.
The glass is clear, it’s sturdy, the battery life is amazing, no need to fidget with any buttons and it’ll work with a dead battery thanks to the solar panel. It’s extremely bright and the gold is pleasing to the eye.
I hope one of the other US brands make something this good at this price point and even though I’m no fan of the Chinese government, I have to say this product is just plain good.
My peeve is I can’t fit the optic, the magnifier, and a back up sight on my rail, but fortunately the magnifier has a quick release, so I guess if I need to set my rifle up for longer range defense someday I have the option, but for now I left it off and kept my back up irons.

Really good optic. Love everything it does. It is however stuck on the rail now. I’ve broken a dozen T10s trying to get it off. So if u get one just don’t over tighten the mount

Aside from looking cool, it’s standard Holosun quality. I use with a flip up holosun 3x magnifier. Perfect combo in my opinion for some short to mid range, modern sporting.

Got this to put on a high end AR pistol after looking and shopping for a while. I knew I wanted a dot scope but I love holographic sights. We’re getting ready for my son to start shooting and he’s color blind, reds show up as grey to him so the Eotech I have on my other rifle is visible to him but it doesn’t pop out like it does for non color blind people,so I figured a good gold dot reticle would solve that.
Unpacking and mounting was super easy. I was surprised at how big and clunky the sight looks, but that’s also a factor of how solid it is. Once it’s mounted it’s a rock, no flex or wobble at all. Motion activation is perfect and the reticle is nice and bright with plenty of adjustment. Zero was easy with a laser boresight, I wanted 50 yards so just had to drop elevation a bit. Handed it to my son and he can see it quite easily to I’d chalk that up as a success.
First range visit was perfect. It was zeroed perfectly and didn’t move at all after a couple hundred rounds. The giant side profile all bit disappears when you’re looking through the sights, and cowitness with my flip up sights was perfect.
Overall wish it didn’t look like a LEGO block, but for performance and visibility no complaints at all. Recommended.

I was hesitant to buy holosun but this had everything I was looking for in an optic. Created a killflash for it by using a dremel on an eotech killflash. So far, holding zero fine, no loosening of the retention screw, and the auto brightness and shake awake works great. If I should notice anything fail to perform I will update my review.
