I love this light! I have it on my Glock 45 and it dose not disappoint. I will say that holster are hard to find. I found some from “Tier 1 concealed” but they are Gucci prices for the average joe. Would still recommend them though. Great customer service and they offer payment plans.

As someone who’s owned Inforce lights from the beginning, I’ve always had high hopes for them, but they just couldn’t quite hit the mark. The new Wild 2 is definitely their best light, as it locks up tight, it’s actually waterproof and it has a very intense beam. That said, I’ve seen some issues with durability around drop tests. That said, the main reason I’m giving this a 3 star rating is because of the beam design. I got the chance to shoot it at night and it’s true that the center hotspot is very intense. It’s actually SO intense that it washes out the target. I had to aim a little off-center to see the target and then aim back at the target and hope I hit. After using this light on my HK45 Tactical, I now understand why the Surefire X300U-A is the best light on the market, even over the Mod-Lite PL350 and especially the Streamlight TLR-1. The X300 has a really great flood, warm color and a decent enough hotspot. Additionally, it’s a proven durable light. As a result, I bought the X300 and haven’t looked back…and yes, the cost of the X300 sucked.

Received on 4/12/21 – I’m a 6 year LEO who’s been in a OIS. My surefire let me down, I had problems activating one handed and didn’t have the throw I needed (60-75 yards). After the incident I began hunting for a upgrade, hoping Modlite would jump into the Pistol Light market but nothing yet. The surefire is 1k lumen/12k candela / The Streamlight TLR HL is 1K Lumens/20k Candela but the emitter rides close to the lense so it’s more of a flood beam than a thrower. This light is 1k lumens/25k Candela with a deep emitter that will throw!!! this light crosses all’s my boxes, feels 10 times more sturdy than the older, plastic Inforce models that’d I’d never allow in my holster. These switches are nurled and active easily, but not too easy like the streamlight where you get ND way too often. Lastly and most importantly, it fits safariland Holsters designed for X300U/TLR1. The throw is awesome, reminds me of a small SL-20, with an insane hot spot. Very impressed. Orderering 3 more to replace my X300U’s and TLR’s, can’t wait for the Wild 1’s (Compact)

This is an incredible upgrade from their previous version. Yes it’s a little bulky and abstractly shaped but it’s performance is outstanding. Even after 300 rounds the light intensity hardly diminishes. The light isn’t too heavy by any means but does add a good counter weight when you have more than 15 in the magazine. As this is a newer light, the market does need some time to catch up on the holster availability but that’s the only drawback in my book.
